Returns and Exchanges
PROCEDURE
- Please get in touch with our Customer Service Team within 72 hours from the receipt of delivery by calling us on +91 9717949749 between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. (Monday – Friday) or email us at [[email protected]] with the Subject: “Return/Exchange – Order Number” in order to obtain a returns number and returns address. Doing this will assist us in giving you a quicker reply when we receive the product and organize a possible replacement. Unauthorized items will not be received.
- Product packaging, labels & tags must be intact and in perfect condition. If you do not retain your original packaging, please use similar packaging that will provide similar protection as your product must be received by us “as new” and in a condition for resale.
- We will send you a return confirmation email. Since we do not have a return pick up facility, please use a track-able and reputed courier company for the return. We must receive the return shipment within 10 days of issuing the authorization email.
- The customer pays the return shipping charges. We do not reimburse the shipping charges. Return costs will only be refunded if the product is faulty, or it differs from the advertised product.
- Once we receive the returned products and after inspecting the condition (products should be in original packaging and un-used condition), we will either replace the product or refund the amount. Refunds will be made via Bank Transfer/Refund to Card or Wallet used for making payment. Refunds will be initiated within 7 Working days. It will be made to the account of the person who has made the payment and not to a third part account.
- If you have received a product under free shipping, flat shipping charge of Rs.79 shall be deducted from the Refund amount.
- Colourful Stationery Sellers is not responsible for shipping fees for lost returns. Please obtain a tracking number for your records. We are unable to accept responsibility for any lost parcels returned to us until we safely receive them. Where the delivery of an order is refused, we reserve the right to deduct from the refund the original delivery cost plus the cost of returning the goods to us.
Cancellation Policy
If the Order placed is not yet shipped, then within 24 hours it can be cancelled. Other than that we do not Entertain any Cancellations for orders placed post 24 hours of the order time. Cancellation requests must be made by the buyer themselves, either by email or phone call to our customer care number. All prepaid orders are considered as confirmed orders as the buyer has themselves made payment for them. The amount will be reversed back in 5-7 working days for orders cancelled within 24 hours of placing the order.
Returns Policy
No product is covered under return or exchange policy just because the product is not matching the Image on the Site, as the images keep changing timely.
We understand that that there could be situations where you might want to return your purchase and we would be happy to facilitate the same as explained below. Please make sure that the returned item(s) is/are in an unused state along with all the product tags and labels intact.
“The Return Policy does not work on Technology products, inks (Cartridges and Ribbons) and Corporate Gifting, we request Customer to kindly recheck the product you want to order in terms of its descriptions and specifications, via Email or Phone.
In case of returns, Please do get in touch with us within 3 days from the receipt of your goods purchased, any returns intimated after 3 days from the receipt of order will not be entertained.
But I opened the seal. Will you take it back?
NO we will NOT take back a purchase if you’ve opened the seal.
What do I do? I received a broken/damaged item.
We will take back the broken/damaged product and replace it with a new one. Please send us an email to [email protected] with a picture of the broken/damaged product.
Who will bear the postal charges for goods returned?
If the goods are returned because of any product damage, Colourful Stationery Sellers will replace the product and bear the cost of return shipment. If the goods are returned because of personal choice changes – e.g. if you ordered a pack of 6 pens, but you now want a pack of 12 and wish to exchange it –Colourful Stationery Sellers would still exchange the item, but the return shipment cost would be borne by you.

What we do about mispricings
Despite our best efforts, a small number of the many hundreds of items in our catalogue are mispriced. However, we verify prices as part of our dispatch procedures.
If an item’s correct price is lower than our stated price, we charge the lower amount and send you the item. If a product’s correct price is higher than our stated price, we will cancel your order and notify you of that cancellation.
