EXCELLENT DRAWING AID – The MONT MARTE Paper Stumps Set contains 4 Blending Stumps and 3 Tortillions that can be used for a variety of drawings and artworks. They are ideally suited as drawing aids for blending drawings and sketches with graphite, charcoal, crayons and pastel.

IMPRESSIVE EFFECTS – The MONT MARTE Blending Stumps and Tortillions can be used to achieve different and very interesting effects when blending drawings. Charcoal, graphite and pastel chalk in particular can be blurred very well, which makes it very easy to produce particularly even tones and colour gradations.

The Blending Stumps are made of high-quality rolled paper and have two tips that can be sharpened after intensive use. The Tortillions have one tip, are smaller than the Blending Stumps and consist of loosely twisted paper.

The Blending Stumps are ideal for creating shadows, transitions and blurring of larger areas. The smaller and thinner Tortillions are ideal for finer detail work, for slight blending and the shading of narrower areas.

TIPS

• to resharpen or clean the Tortillion carefully unwrap and tear off the paper at the pointed end.
• fine sandpaper can be used to gently clean or resharpen the paper stump.
